Created a UX/UI /IA design strategy and usability testing for the Boston University Library website re-design. This project toke almost 2 years to launch. A new Boston University Libraries Search capability allows a single point of search across all our books, articles, media, and other research materials regardless of physical or electronic format, whether local or remote. The flexible interface also places a premium on user’s ability to refine searches to their individual needs.
In addition to a new look and feel, the site improves navigation to library Services and Help pages, as well as useful information on Hours, Locations, and News. The newly designed site also highlights the extensive Research Guides to all our collections and content. You can still also continue to use the websites of the Law, Medical, and Theology libraries.
BU Libraries house more than 2.4 million physical volumes, over 45,000 current unique serials, and 77,000 media titles.
